RUSH is just the story...ok, just my story. The story of a girl 20 years old, a college student, a girl in love with life (and her dog); a story about going through all the shit that people go through in life, and learning how to deal with it; a story of anyone whom this girl has come in contact with...

You will find in RUSH a lot of music references because that is how much I love music. So I'll give a cookie to anyone who can figure out the songs I refer to and who sings them. You can't do it for the first song though, because there is reference to what song it is and who sings it. The events in RUSH are all based on real life events for the most part, something like 99%. All names have been changed of course (except one), I do not look forward to some of my friends finding out about this and having them sue me.

Finally, a warning. Being that I am me, and me is a very cynical bitch...well...yeah, you might find some offensive material, lots of curse words (I fucking curse like a fucking sailor), drugs, alcohol, sexual content, girl stuff that maybe you didn't want to know =D, my weird views of the world, racist jokes (c'mon, I'm a Mexican raised in Mexico who has lived in the U.S. for 5 years, and I LOOOOVE to poke fun at the Mexicans from here or at any minority who thinks that being a minority is what sets them apart and makes them better/worse than everybody else ...see, I told you I am very cynical!), etc...all that good stuff, so, don't say you haven't been warned =D

Finally, I would like to thank a couple of losers who have encouraged me to get RUSH going:

- Shinedown (these guys are not losers, in fact, they are baddass!), after hearing "I Dare You" and finding out what it was about, I was truly inspired to pick up my green mechanical pencil and start drawing again. All of their songs and the four guys themselves are inspiring!
- Ai Yazawa, some people have already figured out that I try to follow her style, yes, I do. She is my idol and I wish I could draw with that same talent. So I thank her for letting me borrow part of her style for a bit so I can improve mine. Thanks for giving the world NANA too, I wouldn't be the Hachi I am now if it weren't for NANA.
- Ashwhore, "my real life Nana Osaki," she knows what I'd say, but thanks so much for todo!

- (umm...I'm going to get yelled at for this one) the real life Haibuki...ok WHY?! really, RUSH wouldn't be here if it wasn't because of what happened, it's complicated.
